EU Shipping {Brexit}

Dear EU Customers, please read the below information regarding shipping in this new, sad, post-Brexit world....

The UK has now left the EU, this means that your goods from me now pass through customs in your country.

Under the new laws all products manufactured solely in the UK will not be subject to import duties in your country. The deal that was agreed states that items produced in the UK and exported to EU customers are subject to 0% duties. Proudly, all Toilworn jewellery in manufactured by me using materials sourced in the UK. Please note however that there is some confusion around this and while this is the law I cannot guarantee that duties will not be applied to your order.

Separate from duties charges is VAT, and your orders may incur VAT at the rate of your country. Please check your country's government/tax website for exact details and the rate that might be applicable to you. For example on a £50 order, if the VAT rate is 20% there would be an additional £10 to pay at customs. Some customs authorities also add a nominal handling fee, so please bear this in mind when ordering.

Although the new laws are in place the situation continues to evolve and some custom authorities are experiencing delays and confusion due to the changes.

I will continue to update this page as and when new information becomes available or if specific countries are reporting specific procedures.

If you would like to place an order but have any concerns please feel free to contact me via the form below.

As ever, thank you for your support and interest in my work.
